OLMC 8th Grade Civics Students enjoyed meeting the Mayor of Newport News, Mr. Phillip Jones.  They shared their studies with him and learned about his inspiration to run for office to lead our city.  During his short visit, our Hispanic Advocate, Military Liaison and Business Manager were also able to share, alongside our Student Ambassadors, some of the great things going on at OLMC that benefit our wider community.  Thanks for visiting OLMC, Mr. Mayor!
