Athletic News

Cross Country is open to students in grades 5-8. Practice begins on August 7th at 6:30pm until 8:00pm. Please remember to bring your water bottle and meet Coach Davidson in the front of the school.

Pre-season Soccer Conditioning will begin Monday, August 14th from 4:00pm until 5:00pm. Soccer is open to students in grades 6-8. Conditioning will take place every day this week (M-F 4:00pm-5:00pm). Please meet your coaches in front of the school.

Soccer Tryouts are open to students in grades 6-8. Tryouts will be held after school on August 22nd – 24th from 3:30pm – 4:30pm. Please bring shin guards, cleats, and your water bottle. Athletes are to dress for practice using the lower school restrooms (1st and 2nd grade hallway) and be ready by 3:15pm. Coach Farinholt and Coach Nguyen will meet everyone there.

The Volleyball team is looking for girls in grades 6-8 to become a member! Tryouts will be held on August 22-24 from 3:30pm to 5:00pm. Girls should wear a t-shirt (no tank tops), bring a water bottle, knee pads (if you have them) and tennis shoes. Once the team is selected, Coach Stephenson will practice Monday-Thursday every week.

All athletes should have the Athletic Participation and Code of Conduct forms completed prior to practice. These forms can be found in RenWeb under “Parent Resources”.

Any parent who wishes to volunteer must attend a VIRTUS Session as well as complete the following background screening:

Screening ONE Form/Volunteer Application
Diocesan Safe Environment Regulations Form


In addition, if you are going to drive team members to athletic events you must also complete the Volunteer Driver Form (also found in RenWeb).



Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. For a list of tuition and fees, please look under the Admissions tab. Please note, fees must accompany application form in order to be processed. Position: Substitute Bus Drivers
Our Lady of Mount Carmel School has openings for morning/afternoon substitute bus drivers for the 2015-2016 school year. Candidates should have a current CDL and have at least 2 years experience. Willingness to share driving on field trips is also required. Applications are available on the Diocese of Richmond Website.
