                        Prayer and Worship
As members of the Body of Christ, we are all called to actively worship and come to know God through prayer, adoration, liturgy, traditions and celebrations. Spiritual Life is an incredibly strong part of the OLMC community. Parents, parishioners, faculty, staff and students regularly pray and worship together. OLMC opportunities for spiritual growth include:

• Morning and afternoon prayers led by the administration

• Daily religion classes are taught as a core subject

• Prayer integrated into the daily classroom routine

• Weekly all-school Masses on Friday mornings

• All-school Masses on Holy Days of Obligation

• First Friday Adoration for all grade levels in honor of the Sacred Heart

• Sacramental preparation in second grade for Reconciliation

• First Holy Communion preparation supported by parish programs

• Weekly rosary prayer groups for parents

• Parents, Teachers and Staff serve as Ministers of Holy Communion at school Masses

• Student led “Living Rosary” prayed by the whole school in October

• Catholic Schools Week to celebrate Catholic education in January

• Weekly Stations of the Cross during Lent
