Dear Parents, Happy spring! I hope you and your family enjoyed Easter and the break. With the time flying by, we continue to work hard in 6th grade. Please encourage your child to stay focused on their goals and finish the year strong. After the break, it is difficult to maintain the same focus and effort when thoughts of summer begin to creep up. I’ve asked the students to keep this verse in mind as we approach the last couple months of our school year: but only one receives the prize? Run so as to win.” 1 Corinthians 9:24 Please take a look below to see what we are doing in class. If you have any questions or concerns, please let me know. Have a blessed week, Miss May Extra Credit Opportunities
A special thank you to all the parents who helped with our celebration of the Seder Meal on Holy Thursday. Whether it was sending in food or items we needed, or serving at the meal itself, I greatly appreciate all you did to help! Everything was beautiful and we could not have done it without you. It is something I will always remember and I’m sure the students will, too! Thank you and God bless you!
Religion Students, remember to use the online quiz for each chapter when you’re studying for the test! www.faithfirst.com Social Studies Students have been reminded about the 6th grade homework policy, the impact homework can have on their overall average and the importance of completing their homework on time. Homework counts! If any assignments are late or missing, it is highlighted in the student’s agenda. Please check your child’s agenda from time to time.
Thank you! |
